Doctor check ups, church, and more

The night is not complete for Grayson unless Daddy reads several books before bedtime. Grayson has been very gracious to let Mary Gibson join in on the tradition :-)

















Here are my 3 favorite people all dressed up and ready for church!






















This was Mary Gibson's first time to church since she was born. Everyone, especially those who had not been to the house to see her, were so excited to lay eyes on her. They all said that she looks like her daddy!
It was so much fun dressing my little princess up for the first time in her beautiful pale pink dress. She looked like a little doll! Mary Gibson was most excited about taking her dress and tights off when we got home :-)



















This past week we took Grayson and Mary Gibson to the doctor's office for his 18month checkup and her 8 week check up. It was a bit chaotic with both kids, 2 parents, and the nurse or doctor all in the tiny room at once.
Grayson weighed in at 22 pounds and 10.5 ounces and measured 32 1/2 inches tall. The doctor said he was long and lean! Mary Gibson weighed in at 11 pounds 2.5 ounces and measured 23 inches tall. She is growing beautifully and is very healthy which makes pumping every three hours worth it!

Grayson loves to ride his bus all over the neighborhood. Daddy got smart and tied a rope to the steering wheel to make things go a bit faster. Grayson thinks it is great fun!

Trick or Treat

For Halloween we went to downtown Natchez, MS. The shops all passed out candy and this was Grayson's first time to walk around trick or treating. And Mary Gibson followed along as she slept in the stroller.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

This year Grayson decided that he wanted to be a cowboy. Our only challenge is trying to get him to keep his cowboy hat on! He does not like wearing hats nor does he like for anybody else to wear hats. Mary Gibson is our newest little pumpkin and wears the costume well! Hopefully tonight when we get ready to go Trick or Treating we can get a picture of the two kiddos together :)

October Beach Trip

Last week we went to Seacrest, Florida for vacation. On the way there we were stuck in traffic for an hour on the Mobile Bay bridge. Grayson thought it was funny as you can see below. Yet momma and Mary Gibson thought otherwise as they stayed in the car. While at the beach Grayson was frustrated that the ocean did not follow his order to come fit into his beach bucket. So he gave orders for Daddy to run back and forth bringing the water to his sand castle. As he poured the water on the sand, he kept wondering where the water went. And of course Mary Gibson enjoyed herself as she watched Grayson run around like a crazy man.

This year we tried to continue our pumpkin tradition. Boy how things can change in a year! As you can tell it did not work that well. Grayson went crazy; and Mary Gibson thought we were abandoning her. In the third pic down you can see Grayson last fall, when he thought sitting in the pumpkin was cool!
